Put the base together

Assemble the pipe fitting as shown
Cement it in the ground

The assembly is placed in a 1 foot square and 1 foot deep hole and cemented into place. It only has to hold the pressure of tilting the pole up, so it does not require much concrete mix
Install your antenna

With the pole tilted down (I used a sawhorse to hold it up off the ground) it is easy to install the antenna and coax.
Depending on the antenna mount, you may need to add a 1 1/4" x 1" bell reducer and a short 1" nipple to the top of the pole to facilitate installation of your antenna bracket.
The picture below shows the pole attached to the base.

Tilt the pole up and attach it to your fascia

Tilt the pole up and attach it to the fascia with the straps. I leaned the pole against my ladder to hold it upright and then attached it to the house. You may think of other ways to attach the pole but make sure it will withstand any anticipated winds.
My fastening point is about half way up the pole so it is pretty solid. While there will always be some movement at the top of the pole, it is minimal.
Connect a good ground between the pole and ground rod.
The finished installation

Here is the finished installation of the pole
Note that I also have my weather station on this pole.
This is simple way to put up your antenna and still have it serviceable by simply tilting it down to change antennas or other components.
My finished antenna height is about 25 feet.
